Be a positive role model

When we talk about being a good role model, we often think of adults being role models to children. However I want you to think about this.

Any time you are visible whether online or in real life, you have the opportunity to be a positive role model.

People don't come up to you and say "Hey, I'm watching you, can you be a good role model to me."

Your children watch you and mostly model your behaviour wanted or not.

Teens (even though they might not admit it or even know it) are watching how you behave on social media.

Your colleagues at work are watching you.

Your family are watching you.

Your neighbours are watching you.

Think about all the ways you can be a positive role model to the people in your life.
