Whether it's letting your kids learn how to do something around the house meaning it will take an hour and you could do it in 5 minutes, letting a new employee complete a task with your guidance and then letting them have a go on their own or letting your teen make their own decisions even if you can see it's not going to work out. I believe it's essential that we let people learn.
We all have to start somewhere and if we never let people learn, they will never improve.
Yes, you can probably do it quicker or better, but that probably wasn't always the case. Somewhere along the line someone else stood back and let you learn for yourself.
