How do you want people to see you?

Today I want you to give some thought to the way people see you.  Is it the way you want to be seen?

Often, people want to be seen one way and what they actually show people is something completely different.

I've done it.  The things we need to understand is we have a choice about what we put out and the way we behave and this will impact how people see us.

I do also want to point out that we can't actually control what goes on in someone else's mind and how they actually see you.

So let me give you a couple of examples.

If you want to be seen as someone who is stylish and always well dressed but often wear scruffy clothes when out in public, you're not being the person you need to be in order for people to see you the way you want.

If you want to be seen as confident, be confident.  If you're not already, work on it until you are.

Example of where you can't change how people see you.

My friend runs a shop and works in the shop Monday - Saturday 9-5.  People can see she works these hours and people often say, She's a hard worker.

I work from home most of the time and average at around 50+ hours each week.  Yet most of my friends and family don't see me working and therefore they don't see me the same way that they see my friend who runs the shop.  I can fall over myself telling people how many hours I work, but even then they can't see it for themselves so they don't see you that way.  So my advice, if you're in this situation is just get over it.  You know and that's all that matters.

So where you can show people the person you want to be seen as and where you can't just let it go.
