Quick Tip: Role play for confidence

People tend to think of role playing as something children do and this is a shame.  If you're lacking in confidence in a particular area of your life then role playing is a great way to help boost your confidence.

Here'are a few ways I use role playing with my clients.

  • Parenting: To practice speaking to the child in a positive way
  • Business: To practice what you will say when someone calls for more information about a service you provide.
  • Social events; Practising walking into a crowded room and what you will do (party, networking event...)
  • Interviews: How to handle yourself in an interview
  • NO: Practising saying "No" (you'd be surprised how often this one is needed.)
  • Making friends:  How to approach people in the work place, parenting groups, networking events, workplace...
As you can see there are many ways you can use role playing.

Give it a go with someone you trust or get in touch with me.
