Hi,

I'm Wendy and this entire blog is an experiment.  Let me tell you what it's all about.

I've been blogging for many years now and as with almost everything in life, there seem to be a million rules for success.

Let's try breaking the blogging rules

I'm trying out rule breaking.

Here are just some of the rules I'm talking about.

You must write long posts.  Most experts recommend 800 words as a minimum.

You must add loads of images.  You know what?  I love Pinterest, but sometimes it drives me mad trying to put together the perfect picture for your post and it doesn't really add any value usually, so in general NO pics on this site.

You must pay for a Domain name and hosting.  Well, I'm not going to do that either, this is a FREE blogger blog and no hosting.  

So let's see what happens.

Making money from a FREE blog

I'm going to add Adsense and monetize the blog at some stage and see if this kind of super simple blog can make money.

What I really want to know is whether I can make money (a significant amount of money) from a completely free blog and NOT following the typical blogging rules.
