Keep your carrots fresh for longer

I love this tip.  I used to be forever throwing carrots out that had quickly gone past their best.  So here's my quick tip for the day to help your carrots last a lot longer.

When you get your carrots home, lay them out on a clean tea towel or paper towel for about an hour to dry off any dampness that can build up in the supermarket.

Now wrap them in tin foil (kitchen foil)

Think about how many carrots you would usually use in one go (for each meal) and wrap that amount in a foil pack.  Make sure that they are completely covered.

Pop the foil packs into the fridge and your carrots should last you much longer.
